Oh woe is Winston

A few years ago we had some problems with using our inside voices in class and decided to introduce Winston, the bear with sensitive ears. He cries if you shout because his sore ear will hurt. And to some extent it does work but of late poor Winston has been crying alot....as have the teachers

The journalling reads Poor Winston! He is the classroom teddy with a broken ear. If you shout his ears will hurt and he will cry. He loves to hear stories and if you talk quietly into his good ear to tell him your story he will give you extra cuddles. If you don't want to talk you can just give him a bear hug. ALbert Le Blanc is his favourite story (and Louises too), it's about a bear who looks sad. He likes to sit in the middle of circle time to hear it.

The ribbon and little bear attachment are from Jean who sent me a great stash and I just don't know how to use it! Thanks Jean :)
